Tadeusz Cymański

Tadeusz Cymański (* June 6, 1955 in Nowy Staw ) is a Polish politician, local politicians and 1997-2009 Member of the Sejm in the III. , IV, V and VI. Legislature. Since 2009 he has been an MEP.

Life

1978 ended Cymański his studies in the field of transport economics at the University of Gdansk. From 1972 to 1878 he was among the first Związek Młodzieży Socjalistycznej ( Socialist Youth League ) and then the Socjalistyczny Związek Studentów Polskich ( Socialist Students Federation of Poland) on.

From 1978 to 1990 he worked as an auditor in the branch of the Bank of Food Economy in Malbork. In 1980, he became involved in the opposition Solidarity and directed the operation of the Solidarity Commission in Malbork Bank for the food industry. From 1989 to 1990 he was in the Citizens Committee "Solidarity" active and was chairman of the Citizens Committee in Malbork. From 1990 to 1998 he was Mayor of Malbork, after which he served three years in the City Council.

From 1990 to 1998 he was a member of the Catholic right-wing conservative Porozumienie Centrum ( center - agreement - PC). From 1998 to 2001 he was a member of the Stronnictwo Konserwatywno - Ludowe (Conservative - SKL ) to. From 2001 to 2002 he was in Przymierze Prawicy (Alliance of rights - RP) active. Since 2002 he is a member of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ( Law and Justice - PiS).

Since 1997, he holds elected to the Sejm, first for the list of Akcja Wyborcza Solidarność ( Solidarity coalition - AWS). Since 2001, he sits for the PiS and the constituency of Danzig in the Sejm. In the 2005 parliamentary elections, he was elected with 23,518 votes. In this Fifth legislature, he was Deputy Chairman of the Sejm Commission for Social Development Studies. From 9 November 2005 to 22 August 2006, he was sitting in the Sejm Commission on Health, which he left in favor of the Sejm Commission for Local Self-Government to return to the Commission for Health on 18 October 2006.

In the 2007 parliamentary elections, he was elected with 14,064 votes for the fourth time in the Sejm. He was a member of the Sejm commissions for social policy and health.

In the European elections in 2009, he was elected to the European Parliament. This ended on 10 June 2009 its membership in the Sejm. After the parliamentary elections in Poland in 2011, he shares his thoughts on the intra-party democracy in his party PiS. On November 4, 2011, he was expelled along with Zbigniew Ziobro and Jacek Kurski of the party Prawo i Sprawiedliwość.
