Tamara Gee

Isis Gee, actually Tamara Gołębiowska ( born October 11, 1972 in Seattle, Washington as Tamara Diana Wimer ) is an American- Polish songwriter, composer and singer who represented Poland at the 2008 Euro Vision Song Contest.

Biography

Isis Gee began her singing career at the age of five years and got singing lessons in genres from classical to pop, R & B, jazz and country music. At age 13, she won her first talent contest and received a cash prize of $ 1,000. Four years later she won an international singing competition in Los Angeles. In the same year she was also in the preselection for the Miss America here. At age 19, she worked with two jazz albums and toured with it throughout Asia. Back in Los Angeles, she worked with Steve Dorff on to her career.

2004 Isis Gee moved to Poland, married Adam Gołębiowski and now lives near Warsaw.

In 2007 she worked on her first solo album, Hidden Treasure. They also played a song Fate of the album Sehnsucht by Schiller.

2008 Isis Gee won the finals for the Polish contribution to the Euro Vision Song Contest in Belgrade. She received the highest rating of the jury and the viewers voted it the maximum number of points. The Song For Life failed to qualify for the finals by a wildcard of the jury on May 24 on 20 May 2008 in the first semifinal. She reached the second to last place in the final.

2007 Isis Gee has appeared in the sixth season of the Polish edition of Let's Dance ( Taniec z gwiazdami ). Despite initial failure, she scored with her ​​dance partner Zora Korolyov, who was previously with one of the most famous Polish singers, Kasia Cerekwicka, danced, a fifth place among the fourteen participants.
