Tampereen Pallo-Veikot

Tampere Pallo - Veikot (short TPV) is a Finnish football club from Tampere. TPV played 5 seasons in the top Finnish league ( Mestaruussarja; since 1990 First Division ) and once was Finnish champion, namely in the season 1994.

History

1971 TPV played for the first time in the Mestaruussarja. But the crew were missing at the end of two points to avoid relegation. It was not until 22 years later, namely in 1993, TPV returned to the highest Finnish league. With a ranking of the six class was held and a year later the championship by two points on Myllykosken Pallo -47. But 1995 had TPV twelfth in the First Division again the transition to the second division accept. Prior to TPV but still played as a champion of 1994 in the UEFA Cup in 1995/96 against the Norwegian club Viking Stavanger, we retired to the after a 0:4 and a 1:3. 1999 TPV played again in the First Division but increased as Table again direct.

There now followed a veritable crash up to the third tier ( Kakkonen ). 2006 managed the club but the rise in the Ykkönen, in the TPV played from 2007 to 2010. But was followed by the re- descent and the club plays since then mediocre.
