Tan Ruiwu

Tan Ruiwu (* June 30, 1983 in Shanghai) is a Croatian tennis players. He was European champion in 2013 and double 2007 Vice European Champion in doubles and with the Croatian team.

Career

From a young age played Tan Ruiwu excellent table tennis in his native China. In 2004 he came to Croatia, where he played table tennis club STK Večernji list from Zagreb. Later he joined the Croatian citizenship.

The age of 15, he participated in the Youth World Championships in Moscow, where she won in the finals against the eventual Olympic champion Ryu Seung Min with his hometown club, he was once a Chinese master. In the junior he won the Asian Cup.

For his new home country he won twice at the European Championships in Belgrade 2007 silver, with Lucjan Blaszczyk double from Poland and in the team competition with the Croatian team. 2012, Tan Ruiwu European vice- champion in singles; in the final he lost to Timo Boll. In 2013 he was European champion in doubles with the Wang Zeng Yi Poland. In the final they defeated the defending champion Robert Gardos Austrian / Daniel Habesohn.

German Bundesliga

Tan Ruiwu played several years in the German Bundesliga. He was bound by the SV Pluederhausen early as 1999. In 2006 he joined the Croatian club STK Vecernjilist Zagreb to Müller Würzburg Hofbräuhaus, 2008 TTC Frickenhausen. When he had been irregular parallel with the Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad Jeddah took in 2010, for which Frickenhausen beinhahe penalized with a deduction of points, Frickenhausen announced him without notice.
