Tariku Jufar

Tariku Jufar (born 18 July 1984) is an Ethiopian marathon runner.

In 2003 he was the half-marathon competition of the Paderborn Easter Run third parties and Ethiopian runners in the half marathon. In the World Half Marathon Championships in Vilamoura he came on the 17th Place.

In 2006 he was second in the Nice Half Marathon. The following year, he came third in the Mumbai Marathon and the Istanbul Marathon. In the road race World Championships in Udine, he finished 18th place and won with the Ethiopian team bronze. 2008 was followed by a second place in Mumbai, a third at the Hamburg Marathon. At the Los Angeles Marathon, he was second in 2009 and 2010, seventh, when Florence Marathon 2010 fifth.

In 2011 he finished fourth in Mumbai, second in Istanbul and presented at the Beirut Marathon a course record. Another course record succeeded him at the Houston Marathon in 2012. Three months later he finished tenth at the Paris Marathon.
