Tatynia

Tatynia ( German Hagen ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It forms a mayor's office in the Gmina Police ( urban and rural community Pölitz ) in the powiat Policki ( Pölitzer circle).

Geographical location

It is located in eastern Pomerania, about 3 km south-west of the village Jasienica ( Jasenitz ), 4 km northwest of the city Police ( Pölitz ) and 18 km north of Stettin ( Szczecin). Through the town flows from west to east, the river Gunica ( Aalbach ).

History

The village was probably founded in the 13th century by a knight named Gobelo Luchte and led initially the name Gobelenhagen. 1276 presented Gobelo Luchte a 1260 Founded in Ueckermuende Augustinian Canons, the village is available that moved its headquarters to here. But the pin already in 1309 was transferred to the further north at Ziegenort village Tatin, which had acquired the canons and renamed New Gobelenhagen. The previous Gobelenhagen then bore the name of Alt- Gobelenhagen.

Later, probably around 1329, the monastery was moved further Jasenitz and New Gobelenhagen went a. The previous Alt- Gobelenhagen was named Hagen.

1739 in the village of Hagen, Hagen, the Vorwerk has been created.

In place of the former monastery church a half-timbered church was built in 1772.

The rural municipality Hagen belonged until 1939 to Randow county in the Prussian province of Pomerania. With the dissolution of the circle Randow Hagen came to the district in 1939 Ueckermuende.

After the end of World War II Hagen, together with the so-called Szczecin corner - one to the western bank of the Oder anrainenden easternmost part Vorpommern part of Poland and renamed Tatynia.
