Ted Piccard

Ted Piccard ( born November 30, 1978 in Les Saisies ) is a French alpine skier. He is the youngest of seven siblings Piccard - his brothers Franck, John, Ian and Jeff and sister Leila were also skiers.

Compared to its more famous siblings Ted was less successful in alpine skiing. He only won two FIS races and started a few times in the European Cup, but without points.

While studying in the United States was Ted Piccard of the Sierra Nevada ski team in Colleges in Nevada. In America Piccard began with the ski cross. In 2005 he started in the introduced until 2002 World Cup ski cross of the FIS. The Frenchman reached up to now eight race positions in the top ten and in fifth place in the Discipline Ranking 2007/2008.
