Tejas ( "Texas " Spanish) is the fifth album by American blues-rock band ZZ Top. Although dated by the record company London Records in 1976, it was released in February 1977. In North America, the album was released by Warner. The album reached gold status for selling 500,000 units in the U.S..

For the making of the album

The year 1976 was marked by the The Worldwide Texas Tour tour. This was interrupted for studio visits and over again, so the whole recording process took over six months.
