Tem Hansen

Tem Willemoes Thordan Hansen ( born January 18, 1984 in Vallø municipality, Denmark ) is a former Faroese football player at the position of a central midfielder, which was also used for the national team.

Clubs

Hansen began his career with AIK 65 Stroeby, a small club in Denmark. Later he came upon the youth team of Køge BK B.93 to Copenhagen, where he was brought into the first team in 2002. In his first season Hansen played six times in the second division and reached in two seasons in the league. In 2004 he moved to first division club Brøndby IF. The club was runner-up, however, Hansen came up with not a single use and was then sells on to Fremad Amager.

There he played from 2005 to 2007 in the second highest Danish league 71 times and scored four goals. In 2007 he moved to Lyngby BK again in the highest Danish league. He made his debut on the eleventh match day away match against FC Copenhagen. In the 0-2 defeat he came on in the 85th minute for Nicolai Melchiorsen. His first goal he scored on the 26th match day 2-2 draw against Brøndby IF, Hansen met in the home game for the 2-1 lead. Overall, he came up with twelve inserts and could here the descent from that last eleven points away from saving the banks, not prevent it. He played there with his compatriot Christian Holst, who was also born in Denmark, together. In the second class first division he came up with three more missions.

From early 2008 until late 2009 played at Hansen BK Søllerød - Vedbæk in the 2nd Division East, the third highest Danish league. In 2010 he was out of contract and ended his career.

National

First, Hansen ran for the Danish U-19 in two internationals, before he decided on the Faroe Islands. Overall, he played three times for the Faroese national team. He made his debut in the qualifier for the 2008 European Championships against Ukraine on 24 March 2007. The game ended 0:2 in Toftir, the midfielder came on in the 74th minute for Súni Olsen. His most recent employment was in a friendly against Estonia on 4 June 2008 in Tallinn. In the 3:4 defeat, Hansen was in the starting XI and was replaced in the 61st minute with the score at 0-3 against Høgni Madsen.
