Tendai Chimusasa

Tendai Chimusasa ( born January 28, 1971 in Nyanga ) is a former Zimbabwean long-distance runner, in Germany in particular had great success in road races.

In 1993 and 1994 he won at the 25 km from Berlin, and in 1993, 2002 and 2003 at Paderborn Easter Run on the half marathon course. In 1998, he won the Hamburg Marathon in his personal best time of 2:10:57 and the Frankfurt Marathon. In 2000 he was second at the Hamburg Marathon and won the Lucerne City Run. He was second in the Cologne Marathon in 2001 and won the Bietigheimer New Year's run. 2002 he applied to the night of Borgholzhausen the current course record, and in 2003 he won the Regensburg Marathon.

At the Summer Olympics in Sydney in 2000, he finished ninth in the marathon.

Chimusasa ran 1993 27:37 at Wurzburg Residence running the hitherto fastest 10-km time on German soil.
