Tengelic

Tengelic is a municipality in southern Hungary. It is located about 120 km south of the capital Budapest in Tolna county and belongs to the small area Szekszárd.

History

The first written references date back to the year 1304. In the 18th century the family Csapó acquired the fundamental rights.

Environment

Larger towns in the area are Paks, Szekszárd and Tolna. The Danube is only a few kilometers.

Traffic

Tengelic lies on the railway line Sárbogárd - Bataszek. Since March 31, 2010 Tengelic is accessible via the M6 ​​(junction Tengelic Dunaszentgyörgy ).

Leisure

Since 2005 Tengelic features a thermal indoor pool.
