Teradyne

Teradyne is indigenous to Boston manufacturer of test systems for microprocessors and other electronic components.

The company was founded in 1960 and employed 3,200 people in 2010, which achieved a turnover of 1.6 billion U.S. $. The joint stock company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange ( NYSE: TER). In Germany the business is run from Munich and customers such as Infineon (Munich, Dresden), AMD ( Globalfoundries Dresden) and Micronas (Freiburg) looked after.

Product lines

Equipment will be manufactured alongside PCB testers with which chips are tested after manufacture to function. These plants are adapted from Teradyne to the specific application of the customer, such as AD converters, high-speed chips, memory and SOC). Several product lines (eg " Catalyst " and " FLEX " ) were each optimized to the specific requirements such as throughput, cost, and test depth.

For the test of loaded electronic boards for automated X-ray inspection equipment are manufactured.
