Terra Mitica ( German: mythical Earth ) is an amusement park in Benidorm ( Alicante, Spain). The focus driving and water rides, such as water slides, wild river rides, carousels and Roller Coaster are on the American model. A battle on the pirate ship is also on the program. The scenes are inspired by the ancient civilizations of the Mediterranean. Therefore, the park is divided into five zones: Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia and The Islands, which are all representative of a Mediterranean lake. The presentation abandons any regional studies or historical information.
History
After opening in 2000, the majority of the approximately 40 -acre park of Paramount Parks was purchased and traded until 2004 with the suffix "a Paramount Park". In October 2001, a treaty was signed, which for four years promised Paramount management of the park. 2004 Paramount sold its shares in the Valencia region, and withdrew from the park. From May 2004 to November 2006, the park was in bankruptcy protection and was debt free mid-2006 through the sale of adjacent land again.
