The spawn of the devil, Konga, Godzilla, King Kong (Japaneseメカゴジラ の 逆襲, Mekagojira no gyakushū, dt " Mechagodzillas counterattack" ), broadcast on German television as Godzilla and the Clash of the Titans, is a Japanese monster movie from 1975 from the fictional world around the figure of Godzilla. It is the sequel to the film King Kong versus Godzilla 1974 and the last independent film directed by director Ishiro Honda.
Action
The film begins with the search for wreckage of the destroyed Mechagodzilla in the Pacific Ocean. After a short time the " Akatsuki ", the U- boat of the expedition, lifted by an oversized fin to the water surface and there broken into two parts.
In the immediate investigation initiated to go next from a huge fish, but they come quickly doubt on whether a fish, no matter what size, if such a disaster can cause. Interpol chief Murakoshi and biologist Ichinose interview the daughter of the allegedly deceased scientist Dr. Mafuné because they cherish the presumption, if not could be behind the Titanosaurier discovered by scientists Mafuné.
The assumptions are piling up and yet alien beings from the planet Earth to conquer the Black Hole, using the Mechagodzilla No.2, to have built these beings themselves so as to gain world domination. Dr. Mafuné is towards humanity hostile and hateful set since he had been expelled 15 years ago because of the studies on the Titanosaurier of the university. He then established contact with the army commander Segawa. His hatred of the human race, he was thus able to live out that he sent both the Titanosaurier and the robot Mechagodzilla Tokyo on going. Only by the emergence of Godzillas the earth was saved at the last minute by the new Godzilla Mechagodzilla out of service completely and put the Titanosaurier left again into the sea.
