Terry Gou

Terry Tai -Ming Gou (Chinese郭 台 铭; born October 8, 1950) is a Taiwanese manager and head of the Hon Hai Precision, the largest with over 1.2 million employees EMS manufacturers worldwide.

Career

In 1974, Gou founded Hon Hai Precision in Taiwan, where ten employees plastic panels were produced for televisions. His first factory in China, he opened in 1988 in Shenzhen, Guangdong province. There is still the greatest work of Hon Hai Precision. Meanwhile finished nearly one million employees in Gou's company electronics and computer components for Intel, Dell, Apple, Nokia, Samsung and many other IT vendors.

Private life

Gou's parents lived up to their flight to Taiwan in 1949 in the Chinese province of Shanxi.
