Terry Moore (comics)

Terry Moore ( born November 19, 1954 in Houston ) is an American comic book writer and illustrator. He is best known for its award winning work Strangers in Paradise. Since March 2008 his new series Echo appears. He also worked as a writer on the series Spider -Man Loves Mary Jane ( 5 issues 2007) and The Runaways ( 9 issues 2008-2009).

Career

Before he made ​​his own as a comic author, he was a video editor in an advertising agency. To be taken after multiple failed attempt as an author and illustrator of so-called "Daily Strips" at a daily newspaper under contract, he became aware of the then booming market of so-called alternative comics when you visit a comic book store. From that inspiration grew his previous major work Strangers in Paradise, which he sells through his own publishing Abstract Studio.

Terry Moore lives in Houston with his wife, Robyn Moore, their two children and the family dog ​​, a Shi Tzu named Misha.
