Terry Williams (drummer)

Terry Williams ( born January 11, 1948 in Swansea, South Wales ) is a British rock drummer.

Williams music career began in the 1960s when he played at various little-known Welsh bands, including The Smokeless Zone and legend. In 1968 and '69 he participated also on recordings by Dave Edmunds ' Love Sculpture damaligem project. In 1970 he then joined together with Martin Ace, a former bandmate, Man, where he played until their separation in 1977 on all other albums. Besides, he had continued his work with Dave Edmunds beginning of the '70s and now joined his band Rockpile.

In the following decades, Williams remained active as a musician for various artists. Among the artists with whom he later collaborated, including Dion, Dire Straits, Bob Dylan, The Everly Brothers, Richie Havens, Allan Holdsworth, Mark Knopfler, Nick Lowe, Meat Loaf, The Motors, Graham Parker, Dolly Parton, Cliff Richard and Tina Turner.
