The Tête de Valpelline is a 3802 m ( according to the map of Switzerland only 3'798, 2 m above sea level. M. ) high mountain on the border between Switzerland and Italy in the Valais Alps. On the Italian side of the summit dominates the Valpelline, on the Swiss side the Matter.

The normal route via the refuge Rifugio Aosta to Col de la Division and then further east to the summit. The rise of the refuge is expected an approximately 3 hours.

On the border, is the summit between the further east Hérens and the further north Tête Blanche.

The stage between Bertol and Schönbielhütte as part of the Haute Route passes close by the summit of the Tête de Valpelline.
