Thai FA Cup

The FA Cup is a national Thai football competition. The cup competition was held annually from 1980 to 2001 except for the years 1982-1983 and 1986-1992. The Bangkok Bank FC won the first two editions of the competition and has a total of four titles and record holder. After 8 years of absence of competition from the Football Association of Thailand in 2009 was continued again. Start date was 27 June 2009. Should take part this shall all clubs in the top three leagues and teams and clubs from the leagues below. Also, college and high school teams may participate. The winner of the finals may participate as a representative of Thailand at the AFC Cup.
