Thaksin University
The Thaksin University ( Thai มหาวิทยาลัย ทักษิณ, English:. Thaksin University, in short: TSU, translates as " University of the South" ) is a public university located in Songkhla, southern Thailand.
The Thaksin University took in 1968 as a training facility for teachers on their work before it was made in 1974 to a regional campus of Srinakharinwirot University. On 1 November 1996, the University finally got their independence as the 23rd state university and became an independent public body.
