The Thamserku is a six-thousand in the Khumbu region of Nepal, east of Namche Bazaar and Tengboche south of the so-called Hinku Himal.
The Thamserku is over a ridge with its eastern neighbor, the Kantega connected. Both mountains are a prominent southern panorama of the outgoing of Namche Bazaar trekking routes. From its interim comb pours in north-east direction of the Phungi Glacier, who goes into deeper layers in a glacial stream, the Phungi Khola.
The mountain could be climbed for the first time by the New Zealanders Lynn Crawford, Peter Farrell, John McKinnon, Richard Stewart in 1964.
