The Killer Barbies

The Killer Barbies are a punk band from northern Spain Vigo.

Band History

The band was founded in 1994 and is based on well-known rock and roll and punk bands such as Kiss, the Misfits and the Ramones. As early as 1995 they contributed a song to the movie Hackers - in the net of the FBI.

In addition, the Killer Barbies are known in B-movies participate from the genre horror, most recently in Killer Barbys Vs. Dracula, the Bela B. Felsenheimer by doctors mimics the role of the great-grandson of Count Dracula. He also sang at the 2002 cover version of Iggy Pop songs Candy the role of the comic devil. The song was included on the album Sin Is In the same year, which a year later, the DVD Freakshow followed.

From the album Sin Is In who also wrote the song Have Some Fun, is heard as background music in the PlayStation 2 game Rumble Roses.

In the racing game FlatOut we find the song Baby With Two Heads and Down The Street of the Killer Barbies.

In the 1996 horror film Killer Barbys the band name could not be accepted by pressing ie, as Mattel, creator of Barbie, defended himself against it.
