The King of Fighters

The King of Fighters ( KOF or short ) is a fighting game series by SNK that debuted in 1994. The manufacturer united while elements and characters from the in-house series Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting, and even brought back characters from games before the time of the Neo Geos, such as from Ikari Warriors and Psycho Soldier.

The King of Fighters led the 3-on - 3 team battle system, as well as other items such as Attack Deflector ( Dodge ) and Emergency Escape ( rolling ), which also found application in many other games later.

Chronology

Most games in the series were developed for the Neo Geo and later implemented for the current consoles of the time. Other games called King of Fighters exist, for example, for the Game Boy, Game Boy Advance and Neo Geo Pocket.

The story of King of Fighters is divided into three legends with various chapters and a sub-chapter called " Dream Match ". However, this subsection does not affect the main story, it only combined figures of old and new games in the series in one issue. The first game of the series, KOF '94, is a small exception, since it is both the main story, and can also be considered as part of the "Dream Matches".

In each previous edition of the King of Fighters deals specifically with one of the characters. This is then in this story, the hero, however, these roles change with every episode of the saga. The team, which plays along the hero of the story is, generally referred to as the hero team. Throughout the entire Orochi Saga Kyo Kusanagi is the main hero, and his team remains unchanged. Anime

In the years 2005 and 2006, the four-part web anime released with the name of The King of Fighters: Another Day. Each episode has a running time of about ten minutes.

Filming

As the Japanese magazine Famitsu reported now that filming has already begun in late November in Canada. The finished film is expected to find its way into theaters in 2010.
