The Landmark (Abu Dhabi)

The Landmark is a skyscraper in Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital.

The building was designed by noted architect César Pelli. The construction work was started in 2006 and completed in 2012. In September 2010, the final height was 324 meters reached ( as high as the Eiffel Tower) whereby the building replaced the Sky Tower as the tallest structure in the city. It was after completion for a few months, the tallest residential building in the world, as it surpassed the Q1 Tower in Australia's Gold Coast by one meter, but was in turn replaced in this category of The Torch in Dubai. In spring 2012, the title of the city 's tallest building at around 50 meters higher The domain at the Central Market ( 374 meters) had to be discharged. The Landmark has 72 floors. Underground are a further five floors available, which also house shops next to a parking garage. The building itself is also housed a restaurant.
