The Mahones

The Mahones are a company established in Kingston, Ontario in 1990 Irish- Canadian folk - punk band, she describes her music style as a mix of Irish folk music, punk rock and rock.

Band History

The Mahones were founded in 1990 by Finny McConnell. Originally it was to be a band project, which was launched only for the St. Patrick 's Day 1990. Due to the positive response during and after the show to McConnell decided to continue the project permanently. Over the years, the band released more than ten studio albums. According to the company their music is among others influenced by The Clash, The Who and Hüsker Dü. Various pieces have been in several films and series, such as The Fighter, Irvine Welsh 's Ecstasy and Dog Park used in the soundtrack or as theme music.
