The neigbors is an American science fiction sitcom created by Dan Fogelman. The series is produced since 2012 by the ABC Studios in association with Capital Entertainment for ABC television. The first broadcast took place on 26 September 2012 at the transmitter.
Action
In the series The Neighbors the Weaver family is facing a very special surprise. With full of joy pull the Weavers in an exclusive, secluded residential development ( gated community ) in New Jersey. Your new neighbors behave slightly strangely and finally present themselves as aliens out in human form. The Weavers are the first people to live in the neighborhood of the aliens from the planet Zabvron hiding for 10 years on earth. The family wants to leave the village as soon as possible. But the aliens appear actually quite harmless and the new house like the Weavers, so they choose to stay and to introduce their new neighbors in the everyday life on Earth.

The series The Neighbors received in mid-May 2012, a series order of 13 episodes. The series started on 26 September 2012 at the following Modern Family before an hour earlier ran between The Middle and Modern Family from the next week. On September 29, 2012 ABC announced nine more episodes, the so-called back -nine order in order, so the first season comes to 22 episodes. The first season finale was shown on 27 March 2013. Although the ratings were at 5 to 6 million viewers and a target rating of below 2.0, ABC has renewed the series in May 2013 to a second season. The first broadcast of the second season will be aired on September 20, 2013.
For Germany, the Free- TV channels Disney Channel has announced the broadcast of the series from 2014.
