The New Formalist

The New Formalist is an American literary journal dedicated to the publication of poems in the sense of a new formalism. The New Formalist was founded in 2001 and since then appears monthly in electronic form and once a year as print media.

The journal is published by the American poet Leo Yankevich and has poems of many of the leading English-language writers of the New Formalism published - including poems by Jared Carter, Keith Holyoak, Alfred Dorn, TS Kerrigan, Richard T. Moore, Joseph S. Salemi and Frederick Turner.
