Reviews

  • Roger Ebert wrote on 26 April 1991 that the script " intelligently written " is. The film treats the ability of the characters shown, to love and trust.
  • Desson Howe wrote on April 19, 1991 in Washington Post, he would want more " collisions " between the British and American humor.
  • Epd film 8/1991: ... Andie MacDowell and John Malkovich, who keep to their roles a delicately ironic distance, enter so bitchy, seductive pair that they play on the lengths in the script and staging. Above all, make Object of Beauty a pleasure which, although not for a moment take longer than the film runs for one hundred minutes but harmless maintains.
