Hermético - The invisible region ( Original title: The Fiction Makers ) is a British television film directed by Roy Ward Baker 's 1968 Roger Moore plays the lead role of Simon Templar. . His debut film as a two-part television series Simon Templar on 8 and 15 December 1968 British television broadcaster ATV (Associated TeleVision ). On 1 July 1977 he was as a feature film in the West German cinemas. Template is a novel by Leslie Charteris. Action

After attending the premiere of the new film version of Amos Klein novel accompanied Simon Templar a friend, the publisher of novels, still in his office. There, before the two find two burglars who can escape, however. It turns out that the burglars have stolen the secret address of the bestselling author Amos Klein. Templar learns that Amos Klein is merely a pseudonym, because the author avoids the public. He commissioned Templar to take care of the protection of the author. This flabbergasted that this is the pretty Joyce Darling in Amos Klein. Shortly after kidnap several men dressed as policemen Templar and Darling. As Templar wakes from his swoon, he is in the house of the entrepreneur Warlock. Templar poses as Amos Klein and is forced by Warlock to draw him a plan for the invasion of the gold reserves of the British Bank. Although Templar and Darling manages briefly to escape, but shortly thereafter they are captured again. Warlock threatened both then with a laser, after which the two cooperate. Templar is Warlock before the plan he and Darling have written. During the preparations comes to light that it is in Amos Klein in fact Simon Templar. Hermético - The invisible region is one of two movies about Simon Templar, parallel to the Simon Templar television series, all with Roger Moore in the lead role, emerged. In the UK, the film was, as is the second, Simon Templar and the Sicilian Mafia (1969 ), aired in two parts in the series, in many other countries, however, there was cinema releases. The abridged German version was shown as a complete movie 1977 in the cinema and for the first time on free TV on September 12, 1998 SuperRTL.
