The Summit League

The Summit League is a league consisting of eight universities for various sports that play in the NCAA Division I. Until 1 June 2007, she was known under the name Mid-Continent Conference.

The league was founded in 1982. The members are mostly in the Midwestern United States. The headquarters is located in Elmhurst, Illinois. The Southern Utah University in 2012 has left the The Summit League and is changed to the Big Sky Conference. As a new member advocated at the University of Denver the League.
