Theater (song)
Theatre is a German Schlager, composed by Ralph Siegel and written by Bernd Meinunger. It was interpreted by Katja Ebstein and was the contribution of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Euro Vision Song Contest 1980. He reached # 2 and was subsequently on Evergreen in Germany.
History
Again, one written by Meinunger and Seal song has been selected after the success of Genghis Khan. As a twelfth song on the night of the competition played, it reached the second place of 19 articles with 128 points. The song reached number 11 in the German charts - where it could hold 15 weeks. Ralph Siegel himself played the piano on the stage. He wore white gloves during the performance, depending on which sat a little clown figure. Four other clowns offered pantomimic gestures dar.
