Theodore von Karman Medal
The Theodore von Karman Medal is a prize awarded annually for outstanding achievements in engineering mechanics award from the American Society of Civil Engineers ( ASCE ). It is named after Theodore von Kármán and has been awarded since 1960.
There is yet another Von Karman Medal of the Advisory Group for Aerospace Research and Development ( AGARD ). There is also the Theodore von Kármán Prize of the SIAM.
