Thomas Alexander Harris

Thomas Alexander Harris ( * 1826, † April 9, 1895 in Pewee Valley, Oldham County, Kentucky) was a prominent Confederate politician.

Harris served in the United States Army during the Mexican- American War. After the secession of his home state of Missouri in 1861, he represented this in the first Provisional Konföderiertenkongress and then later in the 1st Konföderiertenkongress.

Harris died in 1895 in Pewee Valley, and was then buried in the Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
