Thomas Beck (footballer)

Thomas Beck ( born February 21, 1981) is an liechtensteiner football players.

Club career

Beck began his football career at FC Schaan, where he went through all the stations of the youth to the first team. The striker was soon discovered by the Liechtenstein single professional football club, FC Vaduz and was there in 1999 a contract. In addition, he was appointed to that time in the Liechtenstein national football team. After a year he moved, however, already to Grasshopper Club Zurich in the highest Swiss league. After two more years at FC Vaduz he finally moved in 2003 to FC Chiasso in the first Swiss league (third power). Since he no longer regularly came there to use, he finished his professional career and reamateurisierte. He worked on from there in his learned profession as a banker and played half a year in the Swiss amateur league.

In 2006, he received an offer from Blue White Feldkirch in the Austrian Regional League West where he could immediately establish itself as a regular player. During the two years there, he scored 28 goals in 41 games for the Vorarlberg. In summer 2008, he moved to league rivals FC Hard, where he was also a regular player.

National team career

Since 1998, Beck national team for the Principality of Liechtenstein. In 77 games he scored 5 goals (as of August 2011). His greatest success Beck in October 2007, when he appeared as a substitute in the match against Iceland 15 minutes before closing and 2 goals scored for 3-0 and in October 2004, when he contributed an assist and a goal to make it 2-2 against Portugal.
