Thomas Flemming

Thomas Flemming (born 14 July 1967 Schlema ) is a former swimming athlete from East Germany, who won two Olympic medals in 1988 with the freestyle relays.

Flemming moved in 1979 from Zwickau to SC Karl- Marx-Stadt. In 1983 he won the 4 x 200 - meter freestyle relay at the European Junior Championships. After Flemming had occupied in 1986 in the East German championship in each case behind Sven Lodziewski second place in the East German championship in the 100 meters and 200 meters freestyle, followed at the World Swimming Championships 1986 in Madrid, his first international title.
