Thomas Joseph Riley

Thomas Joseph Riley ( born November 30, 1900 in Waltham, Massachusetts, USA; † 17 August 1977) was auxiliary bishop in Boston.

Life

Thomas Joseph Riley received on 20 May 1927, the sacrament of Holy Orders for the Archdiocese of Boston.

On October 31, 1959, he was named by Pope John XXIII. Titular Bishop of Regiae and auxiliary bishop in Boston. The Archbishop of Boston, Richard Cardinal Cushing, donated to him on 21 December of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Boston, Eric Francis MacKenzie and Jeremiah Francis Minihan.
