Thomas Knak

Thomas Knak ( born February 7, 1973) is a Danish musician, composer and label owner.

Career

Together with fellow musicians Jesper Skaaning ( Acustic ) and Anders Remmer ( Dub Tractor ) founded Knak the Future Group 3, three albums and two EPs of which appeared between 1995 and 2001 on April Records. Also starting in 1995, he produced with Morten Remmer together as James Bong.

Knak went solo for the first time in 1997 in appearance than its 1/3 & 1/ 2 EP was released on April Records.

In 1999, the opiates debut album appeared Objects For An Ideal Home on April Records. In the same year he founded his own label Hobby Industries, appeared on the addition to its own opiates publications and works of Goodiepal, Dub Tractor, SpinForm and other artists.

Then Knak next to Damian Taylor, Guy Sigsworth, Jake Davies, Marius de Vries, Matmos, Matthew Herbert and Valgeir Sigurdsson produced several pieces for the 2001 published Björk album Vespertine.

In 2000, Knak with Skaaning Remmer and the Future -3 successor project system. The first album was released in 2002 on the system operated by Stefan Betke label ~ scape.

From 2003 Knak was also active as a composer of film and television soundtracks. He has composed music for the award-winning film Reconstruction.
