Morr Music
Morr Music is a Indietronic record label, founded by Thomas Morr in Berlin in 1999.
Label history
Thomas Morr worked in 1998 in Upper Bavaria Landsberg am Lech in the distribution of the label house music and helped develop these further. The following year, he founded his own label Morr Music, where first house music helped him with existing distribution channels, and later helped the Morr house music to new contacts. The first release was in June 1999, the album Poploops for Breakfast by B. Fleischmann. Followed in 2000 with Putting the Morr back in Morrissey the first label compilation. 2001 with A Number of Small Things, a sub-label for 7 " singles founded and in 2003 with Sound of a handshake a sub-label for collaborations. In the following years, Morr specializing in Electronica formations from Germany, but took next Indietronic and IDM Acts and indie folk bands under contract, including some from the UK and Scandinavia.
