Life

When King Borommaracha I died in Ayutthaya at the age of 81, he had only one son, who came into question as heir to the throne. So his son Lan Thong succeeded him on the throne of the royal palace of Ayutthaya (Wang Luang ).

Ex - king Ramesuan that already for a short time was 18 years ago, once king, but of Borommaracha I had been dethroned, had been waiting patiently in Lopburi on the death of the king. Now, however, he secretly gathered his followers and stormed the palace of Ayuthhaya. The young prince, who had just 18 days in possession of the government violence after a few chronicles, was executed at Wat Khok Phraya, as was customary for members of the Royal Family: He was put in a Samtsack and beaten to death. Had himself Ramesuan then again crowned king.

The chronicler Jeremias Van Vliet, merchant of the VOC, who lived in Ayutthaya from 1633 years to 1642, Thong Lan writes only to a reign of seven days.
