Thunderbike

Thunderbike is a German motorcycle manufacturer that specializes in custom chopper ( custom bikes ) and accessories manufacturing. The company is also authorized dealer of motorcycle brand Harley- Davidson and the online mail order of motorcycle accessories & clothing operates.

History

The company Thunderbike was founded under the name Motorcycle shed 1985 in Hamminkeln and specialized initially on sport bikes from Japanese manufacturers. In 1987, the company was authorized dealers of Suzuki and has since worked as a tuner of the brand.

Between 1987 and 2001 Thunderbike was increasingly active in European racing and won several titles in the German Endurance Championship. Already at that time was the brand name " Thunderbike by Motorcycle shed ", which was, however, still used mostly for Japanese choppers and streetfighter conversions.

2006 Thunderbike Harley-Davidson became the dealer of the Lower Rhine region and put our product offering even further to the new manufacturer has to offer. In the same year took Thunderbike the 2nd place in the World Cup in Custombikebau.

In 2009 the company opened an American Roadhouse, which was inaugurated on the 25th company anniversary at a bike show with presenter Ralf Richter and a concert by the band The Boss Hoss. In 2011, the rock band Slade gave a concert at the annual ' Thunderbike Joker hard '. In addition, the company opened an online shipping trade for motorcycle accessories and clothing.

August 8, 2012 Thunderbike was the Motorcycle ' PainTTless ", a € 150,000 expensive Cafe Racer Harley- Davidson Ironhead engine, world champion in Custombikebau. Qualifies Thunderbike had for the event in Sturgis with the victory at the RideIn bike show at the European Bike Week in Faak 2010.
