The Tiefenbeek is less than 3 km long tributary of the Sieber, Sieber south of the village in the district of Osterode am Harz in Lower Saxony. It rises to 600 meters above sea level at the ridge Aschentalshalbe. After it flows briefly northwest and west, the creek turns south-west direction, it is separated by the Breitentalskopf by the Sieber. He then turns to the north-northwest and flows at an altitude of about 320 m in the village Sieber in the Sieber. The name comes from the fact Tiefenbeek the depth of Breitentals and the Middle Low German name for Bach ( see Beek ).
