Tim Cook (ice hockey)

Tim Cook ( born March 13, 1984 in Montclair, New Jersey ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since 2009 in the Belfast Giants in the Elite Ice Hockey League contract.

Career

Tim Cook began his career as a hockey player in the Junior League United States Hockey League in which he was active for the Omaha Lancers and River City Lancers 2001-2003. In 2003 NHL Entry Draft, he was selected in the fifth round as a total 142 players from the Ottawa Senators, for which he, however, never played. Instead, the defender attended for four years, the University of Michigan and played with the team in the CCHA. With his team he won the 2004 and 2005 the championship of the CCHA.

In the 2007 /08 season, Cook made ​​his debut in professional hockey when he ran aground for the Texas Wildcatters in the ECHL. The following season he joined Totempo HvIK in the Danish AL-Bank Ligaen and finished it at the Florida Everblades in the ECHL. Since the 2009/10 season, he stands at the Belfast Giants of the Elite Ice Hockey League contract.
