Tim Sandtler

Tim Sandtler (born 20 February 1987 in Bochum ) is a German racing driver.

Career

Sandtler began his motorsport career in 1997 in karting, where he was active until 2002. In 2003, Sandtler into formula racing and competed in two races in the German Formula Renault. Mid-2004 Sandtler in the German Formula BMW. After he had occupied the 17th place overall in his debut season, he scored three podium finishes in 2005 and improved to ninth place overall. In 2006, the young racer in the Formula 3 Euro Series with the French team Signature-Plus. With one point he took the end of the season 18th in the Drivers' Championship. 2007 remained Sandtler in the Formula 3 Euro Series and went for Jo Zeller Racing at the start. This season it was possible to achieve the Bochum eight points and he finished 16th overall.

2008 Sandtler left the Formula 3 Euro Series and joined the International Formula Master to the Czech team ISR Racing. With a third place as best result he finished at the end of the season 14th overall. His team mate Filip Salaquarda he had this much under control. 2009 received the German no cockpit for the entire season and he had to settle for guest appearances in the Formula 3 Euro Series and the German Formula 3 Cup satisfied.
