Tim Seely

Tim Seely ( born June 10, 1935) is a British film and stage actor.

Life

Seely studied at the London's traditional drama school Royal Academy of Dramatic Art His theater debut was in 1957 in the play loner ( Tea and Sympathy ) at London's Comedy Theatre. Seely took over the lead role of the young Tom Lee, who is at boarding school in the older married Laura (played by Elizabeth Sellars ) love. In the same role he performed later on in Liverpool New Shakespeare Theatre. At the same stage, he starred in a production of Arthur Miller play A View From the Bridge Rodolfo. On the side of Maggie Smith, he joined in 1958 at London's St Martin's Theatre in a production of the play The Stepmother on.

Seely was a member of the BBC Radio Drama Company, for which he played the title role in Pericles, Prince of Tyre. Seely took over additional roles in Shakespearean works such as those of Baptista in The Taming of the Shrew ( The Taming of the Shrew ), of Capulet in Romeo and Juliet (Romeo and Juliet ), Polonius in Hamlet, of Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing ( Much Ado About Nothing) and the King of France is well that ends well ( All's well That end 's Well ).

From the late 1950s, Seely also appeared in film and television. He achieved international fame in 1962 known for his role as Ned Young midshipman in the classic film Mutiny on the Bounty on the side of Marlon Brando and Trevor Howard. Then Seely occurred only sporadically in films.
