The Time Trap (Times Talkers ) is an American science fiction adventure film from 1987, which deals with the theme of time travel. It is based on the book The Tintype the author Ray Brown.

Action

The history professor Scott McKenzie discovered on an old photograph from 1886, a modern revolver. The revolver heard Dr. Joseph Cole, a time traveler from the year 2586 who is trying to change the course of history.

His adversary is the scientist Georgia Crawford - also a time traveler. Together with McKenzie follows it in the past to prevent Dr. Cole to an assassination and save the passage of time.

Background

The story is of Thunder ( English A Sound of Thunder ) inspired by Ray Bradbury's short story that deals with the later became known as the butterfly effect theory.

Some of the exterior shots were on the Newhall Ranch at Valencia and the Ennis - Brown House in Los Angeles, California rotated.

Produced by Fries Entertainment for CBS television movie was aired for the first time on 10 March 1987 and later released on VHS video cassette. In the film, the actor Forrest Tucker played his last role.
