Tina Arena

Tina Arena ( born 1 November 1967 in Melbourne), civil Filippina Lydia Arena, is an Australian singer. She was appointed in 2008 as Knight of the Ordre National du Mérite.

Her career began at age seven in the TV show Young Talent Time. In 1995 they had an international breakthrough with the title Chains, who was a top 10 hit in the UK and came into the charts in the U.S. and Germany. Less successful hits like Heaven Help My Heart, Show Me Heaven and Sorrento Moon followed. In 1998 she sang a duet with Marc Anthony to the spring of the star producers James Horner entstamme a song from " I Want to Spend My Lifetime Loving You ", the theme song of the movie " The Mask of Zorro ".

Since the late 1990s it is successful with french sung tracks in France, but also in Switzerland, where were already sold over one million CDs. She sang at the opening ceremony of the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney the song The Flame. In Paris in 2011, she sang on the podium of the Tour de France after the total victory of their compatriot Cadel Evans, the Australian national anthem.
