Tjörn Runt
The Tjörn runt is Sweden's largest regatta, attend the yearly more than 1,000 boats. The sailing competition leads all the way around the island Tjörn and takes place in August every year since 1964 on the third Saturday.
The route starts at the Tjörnbron, via the Askeröfjord between Stenungsund and Stenungsön to Skåpesundsbron and is a total of 28 nautical miles long. The event is organized by the Stenungsunds Segelsällskap.
