Toba River (British Columbia)

The Toba River is a river in Powell River Regional District in British Columbia, Canada.

It flows from the Toba Glacier in the Coast Mountains in a southwesterly direction to the Toba Inlet, in the end it leads.

At its course operate Alterra Power and GE subsidiary "GE Energy Financial Services ' a joint project for a hydroelectric power plant. This is, together with the power plant at Montrose River, generate 710-730 GWh of electricity for BC Hydro annually.
