Tom Pukstys

Tom Pukstys (actually Thomas P. Pukstys; born May 28, 1968 in Glen Ellyn ) is a retired American javelin thrower.

After he was eliminated at the World Athletics Championships 1991 in Tokyo in qualifying, he was. During the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona and tenth at the World Championships in Stuttgart in 1993 Ninth A Qualifikationsaus at the World Championships in Gothenburg in 1995 followed a year later at the Olympic Games in Atlanta in an eighth place. At the World Cup in 1997 in Athens and the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton, he failed again in qualifying.

For the 2000 Olympics in Sydney he fulfilled although the A- norm, but still had to stay at home because he was inferior in the U.S. eliminator Breaux Greer, who had not reached this standard.
