Tom Shaka
Tom Shaka (Last orig. Sciacca, born April 9, 1953 in Middletown, Connecticut ) is an American blues musicians of Italian origin.
In 11 years Shaka learned to play the guitar in his teenage years he hoofed it through the United States until then drove him in 1976 to Europe. He worked first in Amsterdam and later in London as a professional musician. Among other things, he worked as a house musician in Amsterdam's Red Light District, where he gained much experience in the European jazz and blues scene. In 1977 he arrived in Hamburg and was known for appearances in the cult and culture pub Pö uncle, a legendary Hamburg institution 1970s. Today he lives south of Hamburg in the Lüneburg Heath.
